Wedding invitations for a ceremony on a cruise ship?
We are getting married on a Carnival cruise ship right before it sets sail to Mexico. I am having the worst luck finding invitations that fit the theme. Any ideas?

make your own or have an artist do it. I have done invitations for 2 weddings and numerous art shows. Several things make it look authentic and are crucial a cutting mat that has an attachment that also adds a crease.
If you are looking for someone, take a look at my artwork and see what you think. I am working cheap because I am trying to make money for oral surgery on the 24th.
I have a piece that is called Honeymoon in La Jolla that may be like what you are looking for(http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=115552478&albumID=1833031&imageID=1250714) Take a look at Contemplative Blue. I took that and tweaked it so that it was in grays and looked like a charcoal drawing and put it on an invitation. Monotype corsiva is a very elegant but not too "scrolly" font as well. Please contact for permission and terms before using.

Not just pitchin’ myself: if you know any artists go to them. But I would be willing to do design and set up sent to you online for under $100. I myself know that I printed them out myself at less than 20 cents apiece and that was having to buy the paper one sheet at a time at 10 cents
remember: black and white can be very elegant and cheap.
I used these for my wedding and absolutely LOVED them … not too expensive either!

It looks you have some choices now ~~ I really just wanted to say that sounds like a fun wedding. Congratulations!!!
Definitely check out etsy.com.
Here are a few from different vendors. I just used the search "nautical invitations." You can literally search for anything though, and get an amazing variety of some of the most creative and beautiful invitations. Many of the vendors will also create custom one-of-a-kind invites. And you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing your invites were created by an independent artist/publisher, instead of some giant company in the wedding industry that millions of other people have too.
